It’s very unprofessional and completely reckless if you neglect and refuse to give your health and body attention. Sadly, this is what most Americans do. Cataract is completely different from glaucoma. Many usually misinterpret or misunderstood this condition. Although cataract can be as painless as glaucoma, but this eye concern is more like inducing cloudy lens in the eye. The condition obscures the view as it progresses. Eye surgery can help repair the affected cornea. Unlike glaucoma, cataract is easier to track through eye examination. This is very favorable to people who are twice prone to the sickness, like people with diabetes, exposed to UV light and trauma.

Macular degeneration is an age-related eye disorder that usually takes place at the age of 60. It is similar like open-angle glaucoma which primarily involves the main part of the retina and affects your focus. Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) has two types: wet and dry. Wet AMD is the abnormality of blood vessels at the back of the retina. Without treatment, this continues to grow, leak that affects central vision. Dry AMD, contrary, is light-sensitive cell break down, causing loss of vision.

Retinal detachment is caused by fluid build-up that causes separation of retina from its other structures. This painless eye problem often outbreaks during the age of 25 to 50.  Common symptoms are having floaters in your eye sight and the illusion of flashing lights. This problem, however, is treatable through surgery and laser.

Pinkeye is what most doctors and dentists San Jose CA called as conjunctivitis where the eye suffers from redness and inflammation. This is due to bacterial or viral diseases. Some treatments involve antibiotics, ointment and eye drops. Pink eye is often caused by poor hygiene.
